The main goal of the presentation is to demonstrate how photogrammetric methods can be used to create high-precision, colorful three-dimensional models of Roman stone artifacts and old wax seals. Photographs of the objects are processed by photo-based reconstruction software, which uses structure-from-motion and multi-view stereo algorithms to create a high-resolution 3D point cloud. Here, we outline the workflow starting with image acquisition, followed by photo-based 3D reconstruction, and ending with a 3D textured mesh model. The resulting model collection will not only serve documentation purposes but also contribute to the visual reconstruction of the artifacts.
